My 2016 patriot 2.4l is leaking oil

Sorry to hear about that. From what I’ve learned, it looks like the source of oil leaks on the Jeep Patriot is usually concentrated in one of 4 areas – around the oil filter, by the oil drain plug, around the gaskets and seals, or on the oil pan. Try taking a closer look at each of these 4 spots first, and see if you could find the source of the oil leak.

I bought a 2017 Jeep Patriot High Altitude brand new. Today as of June 22, 2022, I have started to have problems.
I had to change 2 tigh rod end at the front and change my brakes front and rear. I think that at 48,000 km it is way to early. Also my sun roof is leaking and the water went in my radio and short circuit now I have to repair the wire. Also my electric windows stop working because a wire was cut. My mechanic told me that I should think of buying a small car. I really think he may be right.

Sorry to hear about your situation, it sounds unfortunate. If you’re willing to cut your losses and sell or trade in the Patriot, it sounds like replacing it isn’t a bad idea. A relatively-new 2017 model year vehicle shouldn’t be facing this many issues right off the bat.
Bought 2011 patriot latitude jeep not knowing the alignment was badly damaged, possible wrecked. Needs 4 wheel alignment and possible arm replacements? Have no idea how much going to cost and would it be better if I traded?
